Returns It should be noted that, unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of any labelled products, including prescription medicines and flea and worming products. If the customer has requested a cancellation but the order has already been dispatched then we will not be able to cancel and refund the order. This also applies if the customer has ordered the incorrect dosage. Returns of any labelled products are only acceptable if it is due to an error in processing, or for an official recall. Periodic blood tests to monitor for signs of liver trouble are recommended.

Uses

Prevention of seizures due to generalised epilepsy in dogs.

Dosage and administration

For oral administration. The recommended initial dosage is 2.5 mg phenobarbital per kg body weight twice daily.
Tablets must be given at the same time each day to achieve successful therapy.
Eventual adjustments of this dosage should be made on the basis of clinical efficacy, blood levels and the occurrence of undesirable side effects.
For accuracy of dosing, dogs under 10 kg should commence therapy with Phenoleptil 12.5 mg Tablets.
