In dogs - reduces blood pressure and reduces the blood volume load on the heart and so is suitable for the treatment of congestive heart failure in dogs .

In cats - reduces blood pressure in the body and the kidneys, and reduces protein lost in urine and so is suitable for the treatment of chronic kidney disease (chronic renal insufficiency) in cats.

Do not use in dogs with cardiac output failure.****
