Protexin Pro Soluble is a probiotic supplement, formulated to specifically restore and encourage normal digestive function for long term use. Highly palatable and can be added to water, food or milk, Pro-Soluble contains naturally occurring microorganisms to promote efficient and healthy gastric conditions. The micro organisms colonise the gut and help exclude potentially pathogenic bacteria.
The 150g pot is marketed for dogs and the 500g pot is for cattle, chickens, calves, lamb, piglets and older birds. The active probiotic organism in both products is the same, and at the same concentration.
Feeding guidelines
Dogs
- Small dogs: 2g (1 level measure) added to the daily food or water
- Large dogs: 4g (2 level measures) added to the daily food or water
Large Animals
- Cattle and calves 4g (2 level measures) per day
- Lambs and Piglets 2g (level measure) per day
- Poultry and chicks 5g/litre of water/day
- Older birds 0.5g/litre of water/day
(2g measure enclosed)
Note: If added to water or milk it should be consumed within 12 hours.
