MILBEMAX – INDICATIONS FOR USE
Milbemax dewormer is indicated for use in dogs and puppies to treat infestations of
- Ascaris (roundworms),
- ancylostoma (hookworms),
- Trichuris (whipworms)
- Taenia (tapeworms).
Milbemax is also indicated to reduce the level infection of respiratory parasites and to prevent heartworm in dogs.
MILBEMAX – COMPOSITION
- 1 Milbemax for small dogs/puppies tablet contains 2.5 mg of Milbemycin oxime and 25 mg of Praziquantel.
- 1 Milbemax for large dogs contains 12.5 mg of Milbemycin oxime and 125 mg of Praziquantel.
MILBEMAX – DOSAGE
Dosage is based on the weight of your dog. Please see the table below: | ||

MILBEMAX – PRECAUTIONS
- For puppies and small dogs: Do not use Milbemax in dogs that are younger than two weeks of age and/or that weigh less than 0.5 kg.
- For adult dogs: Do not use Milbemax in dogs weighing less than 5 kg.
POSSIBLE UNDESIRABLE SIDE EFFECTS OF MILBEMAX
In very rare cases, systemic symptoms (such as lethargy), neurological symptoms (such as muscle spasms and ataxia), and/or gastrointestinal symptoms (such as excessive salivation, vomiting, diarrhoea and anorexia) have been observed in dogs after administering Milbemax.
