Onsior Tablets for Dogs is used for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with chronic osteoarthritis (a long-term disease causing pain and inflammation in the joints). Treatment of pain and inflammation associated with orthopaedic or soft tissue surgery in dogs.

Onsior tablets should be taken once a day at the same time every day.

Do not administer with food as trials have demonstrated Robenacoxib has a better efficacy when administered without food or at least 30 minutes before or after a meal.

The recommended dose of Onsior is 1mg/kg body weight with a range 1-2mg/kg. For example

2.5 to <5kg 1 x 5mg tablet

5 to <10kg – 1 x 10mg tablet

10 to <20kg – 1 x 20mg tablet

20 to <40kg – 1 x 40mg tablet

40 to 80kg - 2 x 40mg tablet

****Do not use in animals with stomach disease, or impaired heart or kidney function

Do not use with other NSAIDs or with corticosteroids

Do not use in pregnant or lactating bitches as safety has not been established

Liver enzymes should be monitored in animals receiving long-term therapy****
