Protexin Bio Lapis for rabbits is available as a palatable powder which is readily accepted by rabbits when added to food or water. It contains Saccharomyces cerevisiae which is a form of yeast specifically chosen to help repopulate the intestine with beneficial micro-organisms. There is also a prebiotic mixture of fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) and acacia (Gum arabic), to feed and encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria. Finally it also contains electrollytes and vitamins to make up for losses which occur through dehydration.
