Solensia injection for cats contains frunevetmab which helps reduce pain associated with osteoarthritis. Frunevetmab is a feline monoclonal antibody (mAb) which targets nerve growth factor (NGF) which in turn inhibits NGF mediate cell signalling to reduce pain. The medication is administered by subcutaneous injection once monthly.
