Galastop oral solution is used for the treatment of false pregnancy and the suppression of lactation in bitches.

Galastop is used to stop the signs of phantom pregnancy in bitches, including the production of milk. Usually the bitch's behaviour signs are the first to respond (such as nesting behaviour) then milk production dries up.

Galastop can also be used after the birth of puppies if this is required. It is supplied as a liquid which is given once daily by mouth for at least 4 days. If required, treatment can be continued for up to 12 days. Most bitches respond after a few days.
